What if I don't see BibleProject resources available in my language?

Our team is excited about making BibleProject resources available in many languages! If you don't see a language available on the Languages page yet, here are some ideas that may be a good next step.

Finding subtitles in your language

If you want subtitles in your language, check out YouTube's feature that auto-generates video subtitles for many languages.

To enable auto-generated subtitles for a video, select the gear icon (Settings) > Subtitles/CC > English > Auto-translate > your language. Please keep in mind that if you do not first select the default language, YouTube sometimes doesn't display the auto-translate feature.

Please note: auto-generated subtitles are subject to inaccuracies since they are not created by our team. If there are any concerns regarding the accuracy of these subtitles, visit the YouTube Help Center or the Send Feedback button on your YouTube account profile. Also, auto-generated subtitles are not possible for podcast episodes on YouTube at this time.

Translating written content 

Feel free to translate and share our written content (articles, discussion questions, etc.) as long as you follow these Terms of Use: 

• Credit the original English content to BibleProject, including a link to the specific resource on bibleproject.com
• Don’t alter the meaning of the original content, but directly translate the text as much as possible
• Don’t make a profit from the use of it or any other resources in our library

More extensive translation opportunities

In some cases, we give permission to select teams who want to help people access our content in their own language through one of the following methods: subtitles, dubbed voiceover, sign language, or fully localizing the animated text and voiceover.

Due to our current capacity, we are able to do this with only limited number of teams each year. If you'd like your team to be considered, please fill out this interest form. We don't have an estimated time for receiving a response, but we will reach out if your team is selected for further consideration.
