Showing videos at an in-person church service
Feel free to use a BibleProject video in your in-person church service, so long as you're able to follow these guidelines from our Terms of Use page:
- Do not edit our video content in any way—whether adding or taking away from our videos
(Note: This excludes our Overview videos—feel free to play shortened clips of these for specific relevant Scripture passages) - Do not remove audio content or use BibleProject videos as open-source video content for any other unintended use
Showing videos online—streaming church services and uploading videos
Feel free to show a BibleProject video in your online church service, too—whether live-streamed or archived on your church's online video channel—so long as our video is less than 1/3 of your service recording's runtime.
In addition to the section above, please follow these additional guidelines:
- Do not directly upload our standalone video files onto any video-sharing platform, like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, or Vimeo
- Do not place our name, “BibleProject,” or BibleProject video titles within the title of your church’s video recordings
- Please include the following text in your uploaded video's video summary/description box: "BibleProject is the author and owner of the video shown in our service. To see more BibleProject resources, please visit BibleProject.com"
- Email us when you are using a BibleProject video in your recording or embedding it on your website. Please share the URL links where you are sharing our videos.
